Knockout Competition Rules2024

All participants of the Footy Tipping Competition are automatically enrolled in the Knockout Competition.
The competition commences in Round 7 and proceeds through the remaining games until there is a winner.
Players are to select one team each round, commencing Round 7, which they believe will definitely win that Round. For each subsequent Round they are to select another team they think will definitely win.
Each team can only be selected once.
Teams that participate in a BYE cannot be selected.
If there are only teams remaining (to be selected) that are all involved in BYES then this is considered to be poor management by the tipster and the player will be eliminated during that next round.
The selections as recorded in the Footy Tipping database will be taken as the players selections for that round. Mistakes in keying in an entry form are the responsibility of the player and are not subject to change.
A correct selection will keep a player in the competition.
An incorrect selection will eliminate a player from the Knockout competition.
A selection of a team that is involved in a drawn game will result in elimination.
The winner of the competition is the player or players who survive the longest.
There will only be a single prize ie "winner(s) take all".
